A fun day for 10 to 17 year olds; learn about fly fishing and fly fish from a boat for trout .

  Learn about fly fishing and fly fish from a boat for trout on the famous Rutland Water with an experienced boat handler.
The day is based at the Fishing Lodge at Normanton and include activities such as casting tuition, tying knots and leaders, tackle advice, fly tying and fishing advice.
You will be taken out after lunch by an experienced adult boat handler either individually or in pairs of matched ability and age. Boats will return to the lodge for a barbeque at 6pm.
includes tackle hire, fishing permit, boat hire, boat handler and the BBQ. All participants will be covered by public liability insurance and will be given free junior membership of Rutland Water Fly Fishers Club worth £6, for the remainder of the year.
