Rutland Water Flyfishers are running the 'Rutland Youth Fly Fishing Day' again on the 22nd July 2012 at Rutland water. The 2011 event was a great success and we want to grow next years event, making it a day for 'the future of fly fishing'. Please find an for the 2012 event which can be printed and returned to us (all required information is on the form). Please help us by promoting the event with your friends and family by forwarding the . The day will be aimed at 10-17 year olds and cater for a range of skills - first time fly fisher to improvers. This is a chance to learn and fish with some of the best fly fishers in the country.

We are also looking for Boatmen/Women to go out with the participants. If you feel you could help develop the future of fly fishing please consider volunteering to be a boatman, without you the event could not take place. You will be sent more information nearer the time and there will be a briefing on the day. Basically, you are needed to take out 1 or 2 youngsters of similar age and experience for an enjoyable afternoon’s fishing. You will be become a member of the Rutland Water Fly Fishers for the day for insurance purposes in respect of yourself and the youngsters in the boat.
